HypnoTherapy is a comfortable, highly effective way of addressing a wide range of issues, both emotional and physical, eliminating negative thought patterns effectively and introducing positives, using therapeutic techniques whilst in hypnosis.
In this state of deep relaxation we bypass the conscious mind to reach the subconscious mind – this is where we store our beliefs, habits and the greater part of our memory. The subconscious doesn’t differentiate between fact and fiction so it’s possible to introduce suggestions that encourage the mind to focus on positives and let go of the negatives very comfortably.
Visualisation is powerful to address and eliminate stress, tension and all that is unhelpful. It’s possible to train the mind to focus on positives, the more this is done, the stronger they become.
Hypnosis is a natural state, it feels similar to daydreaming, being engrossed in a film, drifting off to sleep – you may hear noises around you but you don’t react to them unless it’s important. Your subconscious will always alert you if your attention is needed. It will also only allow you to take on suggestions that are acceptable to you.
Your eyes are usually closed during hypnosis however can be opened at any time. You’re in full control and will only relax to a level that feels safe and comfortable to you.
Everyone will benefit, there is no age limit, and clients come from all walks of life. My youngest client was 3 years old, the oldest in their 80s. Young people, students, corporate directors and employees, athletes and performers, stay at home parents – my sessions enable everyone to live their best life!
Everyone can benefit, even if ‘only’ to build confidence and reduce stress levels. Problems are often resolved quickly and easily in just a few sessions. Clients find my sessions invaluable to address infertility, increasing the chance of successful conception, to prepare for an easier birth with HypnoBirthing, to eliminate fears and phobias, to improve relationships or performance (e.g. sports, arts, exams, interviews, presentations). Hypnotherapy is also recognised as the best method to stop smoking and release habits, to name just a few examples.
I support clients from the start of life through the different ages and stages and then at the end of life too. Mental wellbeing is crucial for those facing the end of their life, whether due to their age or perhaps an illness. They benefit to find peace, acceptance and at times an improvement of physical symptoms to be more comfortable. Loved ones also benefit from this personalised, caring support.
My experience of caring gives me a unique insight into the challenges encountered when the end is in sight. I offer compassionate support with practical techniques to lighten each client’s journey.
My passion is to empower my clients to improve their lives, I use proven techniques in my sessions and always teach self help techniques, or life skills, to use when on your own. Each session is tailored to your individual needs in a professional, gentle manner, ensuring that you benefit a maximum with new skills to reinforce the work done.
